Part 1 of 2 Groceries for three on a budget – a 75% raw food diet eater, a 7-year-old kid who likes “normal” food, and my husband who likes mostly vegetarian but doesn’t like a lot of vegetables, haha. This is what I got for 5 (including a can-opener. Trying to feed my family healthy wholesome foods, as much organic food as possible.   2. i have an electric can opener that is retro green.. I got it free on the side of the road.. it is so UGLY! But that sucker works EVERYTIME.. go retro if this one fails LOL I think that’s funny.. Great haul.. I would so be juicing those greens up..

  10. i have that can opener. i got it at target for 3.99

  11. I used it yesterday to make my son garlicky soba noodles. I also stick it on popcorn, bad I know. I’ve allowed myself to be able to eat some favorites still, and popcorn once in a while is one of them. I also use it to get my dogs to eat their medicine.

  12. Yup $10. I’ve never told you about my can opener curse? I have NEVER had a working can opener. People give them to me as gifts..hoping they will break the curse and they end up breaking or don’t work. So this time I decided I would go ahead and get the best one they had lol. Yup and I eat TONS of garlic.

  14. $10 for a can opener? That’s what yard sales are for, That’s a lot of garlic for 4 days.
